Overview

The Traxxas Raptor R™ is the latest addition to the Traxxas Pro Scale® lineup, combining superb scale detail and proportion with 4X4 traction and extreme Velineon® brushless horsepower. This captures the Raptor R™ driving experience, delivering both realism and unbeatable speed and durability performance.

The Traxxas Raptor R boasts a Ford-licensed body and moulded replica parts for maximum authenticity. Its Velineon® brushless horsepower and extreme heavy duty 4WD driveline give it performance credentials to match its stunning looks. The pre-installed Extreme Heavy Duty Upgrade Kit withstands the punishment of high-power brushless systems, with driveshafts and suspension components made from tough cold-weather material. The clipless body is held tightly by locking tabs, but can be released in seconds for easy access to the chassis.

Raptor R sets the standard for scale detail with injection-moulded parts for enhanced realism. Unique front and rear bumpers integrate neatly with the body for a clean look and strong impact resistance. The deep-inset front grille features bold Ford lettering and replica marker lights. Tough side mirrors, a hood vent, and rear tailgate panel complete the package

Clipless Convenience

Raptor R’s innovative clipless body features secure mounting with quick and easy removal. No posts, no clips—just drop the body onto the chassis and snap it into place for a secure hold. When it’s time to change the battery, depress the tabs under the wheel wells and lift up to access the chassis in just seconds. Patent Pending

Traxxas Stability Management

Traxxas Stability Management^® (TSM) works behind the scenes to help harness Raptor R’s extreme brushless power for maximum acceleration and precise control. Adjust the amount of assistance from off to 100% right from your transmitter.

New Extended 4X4 Chassis

Raptor R’s new extended chassis features a longer wheelbase developed specifically for this application. In addition to ensuring accurate proportions, the longer footprint improves high-speed stability and refines handling. Extra reinforcements in the chassis improve structural rigidity for hard-charging action and high-flying stunts

Velineon Brushless Power

Velineon^® equals extreme brushless horsepower. The power system is optimised for speed and acceleration, from the patented Traxxas High-Current connector to the custom-wound 4-pole motor. Waterproof Electronics

Raptor R gives you the freedom to drive where and when you want, regardless of weather conditions. Traxxas’ patented innovation means Raptor R is waterproof, not merely "water resistant." Just pin the throttle and go! Water, mud, and snow won’t slow down Raptor R.

TQi Radio System

The high-output Traxxas TQi^™ 2.4GHz radio system delivers superior range, 30-model memory, and maximum control. Add sensors and the Traxxas Link Wireless Module. (both sold separately) to send real-time telemetry to your smart phone using the free Traxxas Link app.

Replica Wheels and Tyres

Large black chrome wheels faithfully replicate the Raptor R’s full-size rims. Licensed BFGoodrich^® All-Terrain T/A^® KO2 replica tyres come pre-glued to the wheels with raised lettering and authentic tread blocks for enhanced realism. Their oversize 114mm diameter gives Raptor R a commanding presence and superior grip on the road or in the wild

Quick Release Battery Compartment

Raptor R stows its battery deep in the chassis, behind reinforced sidewalls for maximum protection. A quick-release, dual-height battery mount accommodates a wide range of batteries including long format NiMH and LiPo battery packs. A beefed up latch provides solid locking action to keep batteries safe no matter how wild the action gets

LED Lighting

Raptor R features front and rear LED bumper lighting to extend your fun into the late hours. Impact-resistant bumpers protect the lights against crash damage with fully waterproof construction for all-weather fun
