Since the first generation model release in 1951, the Toyota Land Cruiser has been one of the most famous 4WD vehicles in the world. This R/C model assembly kit recreates the Land Cruiser 300 series announced in 2021. The polycarbonate body realistically depicts the eye-catching, dignified form with separate parts to capture the distinctive large front grille’s horizontal fins and metal-plated sections. Light case and door mirror components are metal-plated, and door handles and shark fin antenna on roof are rendered by separate parts for more realism. Silver color 12-spoke wheels are paired with block pattern tyres.

CC-02 Chassis: Off Road, Evolved.

The CC-02 chassis is built for various off-road terrains, including rocky surfaces. Its ladder frame takes inspiration from real-life vehicles and provides excellent durability. The 4WD setup features a longitudinal motor placed behind the front axle, a separate gearbox and transfer case, and propeller shafts that transmit power to the differential gears at the front and rear. Its four-link rigid suspension comes with CVA oil shocks, providing comprehensive control on rocky sections. This model includes matte plated seven-spoke wheels and block pattern tyres for better grip.

The CC-02 chassis’ ladder frame is inspired by full-size vehicles and is the base for its superior durability.  The propeller shafts transmitting power to the differential gears front and rear. 20 gear ratios between 11.09:1 and 29.28:1 are possible. 4-link rigid suspension is employed front and rear, with CVA oil dampers.

Four-link arms connect the front and rear axle housings, which combine with oil shocks for outstanding cushioning.

Wide Range of Gear Ratios Available

Twenty gear ratios between 11.09 and 29.28:1 are possible by changing the gear layout and using separately-sold pinions of nine other sizes.

3-Bevel Differentials for Locked Running on Low-Grip Surfaces

The axle housings are made of reinforced plastic and house 3-bevel differentials. They can be locked when running on lower-grip surfaces.
