Overview

The Kyosho RAGE 2.0 takes the legacy of the original RAGE and propels it forward with a significant evolutionary leap. This second-generation SUV racing truck retains the cost-effectiveness you loved while offering an improved driving performance for conquering any terrain. Enhanced strength and efficiency come from new materials and reinforcements like stiffeners on the front and rear, boosting core strength for unmatched durability. A simplified chassis design with fewer parts translates to easier maintenance and increased chassis rigidity. Packed with premium features, the RAGE 2.0 boasts a full-time 4WD shaft drive buggy chassis (FZ02L-BT) for superior traction and control. Grease-filled gear differentials on the front and rear provide smooth operation and lasting performance, while large dog bones and cup joints offer exceptional reliability and durability. An adjustable belt-mounted battery compartment accommodates various battery types for customised performance. Full ball bearings throughout the drivetrain minimise friction for optimal efficiency, and a waterproof KS202W steering servo handles any weather condition.

Features

Updated Hex Screws: Chassis features a reduced number and variety of screws by making frequently used screws the same size. Most screws are flat head screws that can be removed with a 2mm hex wrench for easy disassembly.

Suspension: Handling factors such as bump steer and scrub radius are optimized on the front suspension. Simple ball-connected steering knuckles provide reliable steering and suspension movement. Interchangeable front-rear and left-right hub carriers optimize spare parts utilization and improve maintenance efficiency.

Big Bore Oil Shock Absorbers

Fitted as standard with big bore oil filled shocks that deliver unwavering performance across any terrain, ensuring smooth handling and unwavering control. This is further enhanced by the optimised front-rear geometrical balance, allowing for precise steering and confident manoeuvring in all conditions.

Shocks: Redesign rebuildable oil shocks mark an evolutionary step up from previous models. Optimal front-rear geometry and balance simultaneously delivers both light handling and precise control.

Slipper Clutch: Equipped with slipper clutch to protect the drive system from the shocks of hard driving and jump landings as well as producing optimal traction. The advanced drivetrain features a slipper clutch, working to protect from rough landings and aggressive manoeuvres. This ingenious feature absorbs the impact of jumps and hard braking, protecting the drivetrain from unnecessary wear and tear. Additionally, the slipper clutch optimises traction, allowing you to power through corners and launch off jumps with maximum efficiency and control.

Gearing: Standard spur and pinion gear is 75T and 22T, but 9 pinion gear settings can be used from 22T-30T to produce a wide range of gear ratio settings(When using pinion gear which is higher than 24T, it is recommended to change the motor). The new fixed gear mesh motor mount has holes for use with each pinion gear. Just simply mount the motor directly to the hole locations corresponding to the pinion gear. No gear mesh adjustment is necessary.

Tyres & Wheels: All terrain tires and wheels combine with oil shocks and suspension for balance and easy handling to realize dynamic performance over any terrain.

Brushed Motor: Comes with the powerful 550 size 14T brushed motor(G14L). The long can with Steel ring around the motor case and internal cooling fan provides efficient torque and high speeds.

 Low CG Design

The low-profile, low centre of gravity design of FZ02L-BT chassis prioritises stability with its minimalist design. The speed controller and receiver are tucked away for protection, while the one-piece main chassis gearbox is crafted from shock-resistant, lightweight nylon for optimal rigidity. This emphasis on key components allows for a clean, upper deckless design and keeps the vehicle stable no matter what you throw at it.

Minimalist Design

The streamlined design of the chassis continues and a reduced number of parts and utilises consistent screw sizes and types. This means you'll only need a 2.0mm hex wrench for almost all of the screws, making assembly, disassembly, and maintenance a breeze.
