Description

Based on the first-generation Celica—nicknamed "Daruma" for its distinctive shape—this sporty model was upgraded with aerodynamic spoiler and wide overfenders for a wider track. These enhancements not only improved performance but also gave the car a more aggressive stance and formidable look.

Fitted with 8-spoke Watanabe wheels that faithfully reproduce the design of vintage tires and Watanabe wheels, perfectly matching vintage cars.

The headlights and rear combination lamps use transparent injection parts with lens cuts, and can accommodate the installation of the separately sold 97054 LED light unit series in the light buckets. By attaching halogen 6-lamp units to the front and red 4-lamp units to the rear, the body transforms into one that exudes a realistic vehicle feel. 

Kyosho has paired the FZ02 chassis with a highly detailed replica of the classic Toyota Celica GT. This recreation of the first-generation Celica, known as the "Daruma," is presented in its tuned form, featuring wide overfenders and rear spoiler. The design is completed with vintage-style Watanabe 8-spoke wheels and VTC tyres, a combination that perfectly suits the car's retro character. The body also includes front and rear light buckets, allowing for the future installation of an optional LED light kit to further enhance its appearance.

The FZ02 chassis is a platform designed for both durability and responsive handling. The simple, symmetrical design uses fewer parts for easier maintenance, while the lightweight nylon construction improves impact resistance. It features a shaft-driven full-time 4WD system, sealed gearboxes, and oil-filled shock absorbers, which work together to provide reliable control and a smooth ride on various surfaces. As a "Ready to Run" package, the car arrives factory-assembled with the radio system installed. All that's required to get driving is a battery and charger for the car, and AA batteries for the transmitter.

Enjoy precise and reliable control. The front suspension geometry is optimised to minimise bump steer and scrub radius, while simple ball-connected steering knuckles ensure dependable movement. For ultimate convenience and maintenance efficiency, the left-right hub carriers are interchangeable between the front and rear, simplifying your spare parts management.

Adjustable Width Wheel Hubs

Achieve the perfect "fitment" for your Celica. The kit includes two different offset brake disc wheel hubs, complete with stylish dummy callipers for added realism. This provides compatibility with both 190mm and 200mm body widths, giving you the flexibility to easily customise your car's track width and overall stance.

Oil-Filled Shock Absorbers

Fixed Gear Mesh Motor Mount

Setting your gear ratio is now foolproof. The innovative fixed gear mesh motor mount has pre-set holes for various pinion gears (from 29T: to 37T). Simply mount the motor in the location corresponding to your chosen pinion gear, and the mesh is set perfectly every time. No tedious adjustments are necessary!
