The new X-Monster Chassis combines the legendary power and durability of X-Maxx with even more strength, larger size, and a new series of replica monster truck bodies to choose from.

Description

Traxxas X-Maxx MT, the new monster truck version of the X-Maxx is a huge beast that is more than ready for hardcore off-road action.

The X-Maxx MT does not come with a body, but there are 5 body choices that can be purchased along with the truck. The body choices include three Chevys and two that are licensed by Ford, including one that sports genuine Bigfoot livery. The truck comes in almost RTR form and is expected.

New belted chevron-pattern monster truck tyres deliver outstanding traction for jaw-dropping acceleration and 50+ mph speed with the authentic scale looks of a real monster truck. Choose your favourite Ford or Chevy body (sold separately) and unleash 30+ volts of extreme 8s power!

Under the hood, the X-Monster uses a 1275 Kv Velineon 1200XL brushless motor and VXL-8s waterproof ESC, capable of pushing the truck to over 50mph with dual 4s LiPo batteries and an optional speed gear. The powertrain features shaft-driven 4WD, sealed and hardened steel differentials, and heavy-duty CV driveshafts for added durability.

Coming factory fitted with the powerful Velineon 1200XL brushless motor and a VXL-8s waterproof ESC (Electronic Speed Controller), this RC Monster Truck is primed for brutal 8S power. The driveline is built tough to handle the immense torque, delivering relentless drive through the massive 218mm belted Chevron style tyres. These tyres, made from a super-soft rubber compound, give you maximum grip on any surface. The chassis also features a high-torque, metal-gear steering servo and machined aluminium threaded body shocks, providing predictable and precise control with tuneable damping to let you set the X-Monster up how you want!

Unstoppable Traction

The X-Monster has new chevron-pattern monster truck tyres that give it a livelier feel and better grip. These huge 218.4 mm (8.6”) tyres are made from a super-soft compound for amazing traction and have internal belting to stop them from ballooning at speed. The replica white monster truck wheels with military-style hubs give it an authentic look.

Get the Look You Want

You can make the X-Monster truly your own by choosing from a variety of sold seperately bodies, including Traxxas' iconic replica Ford® F-150®, Chevrolet® C/K, or BIGFOOT® No. 8 body shells. Each body has a full-length reinforced cage for maximum rigidity. If you already have an X-Maxx body, the chassis accepts existing clipless bodies.

Strength and Resilience

The X-Maxx MT Chassis’ heavy-duty suspension arms are designed to flex just enough to avoid breaking, even in cold weather. Double-shear connections at all mounting points give them incredible strength. The captured lower hinge pins at the outer joints now have locknuts to hold them securely in place for worry-free fun.

Protection and Style

Bright chrome bumpers give the X-Monster a legit scale monster truck look while providing tough impact protection. An energy-absorbing cushion behind the front bumper helps to soften frontal blows, making the X-Monster even more durable for all your adventures.
