Overview
This is a HobbyPlus 1/18 CR18P EVO Trail Hunter (Orange) RTR. The CR18P EVO is the newest iteration of the popular CR18 platform designed similar to the Mercedes Unimog All Terrain Vehicle. The new CR18P Evos can offer an unmatched crawling and trailing experience with new features.
Building on from the original CR18P chassis, which featured metal portal axles, a 45-degree steering angle, and a buttery smooth ESC, the EVO adds 2-speeds, full metal gears in the transmission, a larger 130 100T brushed motor, and a much-improved weight bias, leading to an all-round superior crawler. The EVO also has a low centre of gravity weight bias with a front-mounted motor.
The HobbyPlus EVO Trail Hunter comes in two colour options: Orange and Silver. Its Lexan van body stands out on the rock course, but it surprises everyone with its ultra-capable crawling performance. The new body style and paint scheme add to its appeal.
The EVO also features some nice plastic-molded scale features, such as side view mirrors, a cool bumper, tons of light functions, and windscreen wipers. It also comes with pre-installed inner fenders, completing the look and protecting it from debris.
