Description

Experience a new level of power and intelligent control with the Hobbywing EzRun MAX8 G2S ESC and 4268 SD G2 motor combo. This 1/8th scale system is engineered for extreme output, delivering 160A of current and handling up to 6S LiPo batteries for incredible performance in monster trucks, short course trucks, and buggies. The fully sensored G2 motor provides exceptionally smooth and linear throttle response, while the entire system boasts an IP67 waterproof rating for confident all-weather operation.

The standout feature of the G2S ESC is its built-in Bluetooth module, allowing you to connect directly to the HW LINK V2 mobile app. This provides a simple and convenient way to adjust parameters, perform firmware upgrades, and view real-time telemetry. The ESC also includes a data logging function to store and analyse your runs. With advanced features like adjustable turbo timing, a powerful switch-mode BEC with up to 15A peak output, and an intelligent cooling fan, this combo offers both immense power and sophisticated tuning capabilities.

Technology

The OTA programmer allows for real-time data recording, enabling you to monitor throttle, voltage, current, temperature, motor RPM, and more. This data can be viewed in real time and recorded using HW Link for easy data analysis. The system includes multiple protections such as low-voltage cutoff, ESC and motor thermal protection, fail-safe (throttle signal loss protection), and reverse polarity protection. Firmware upgrades are possible via the Hobbywing multifunction LCD Pro program box or the OTA programmer (both sold separately).

Motor

The Hobbywing EZRun 4268SD G2R Sensored Brushless Motor has been designed to provide maximum speed and power. Using an advanced sensored system, this motor can deliver more aggressive launches, higher speeds and better efficiencies. With the waterproof sensor connection, you can enjoy all the benefits of a sensored system no matter the terrain.

ESC

The ESC features three built-in 680uF capacitors, enhancing performance by 74% (870uF) compared to the MAX8 ESC. These large capacitors eliminate the need for external capacitors on your vehicle. It also includes a patented frameless fan design, which rapidly transfers internal heat to the integrated housing radiator. High airflow from the fan's side and a copper thermal conduction sink on the internal power plate ensure efficient cooling. This design maintains the ESC's reliability and optimal thermal condition.
